Thumbnail Grid Preview & Php

I'm attempting to embed and modify the Thumbnail Grid Expanding Preview
script into my own module. The problem I'm having is, when my 'foreach'
code expands onto a second row of generated avatars, the preview box loads
the first rows preview box, on the first row covering up the second row
where it should be below the avatar. I was wondering if anybody had a
suggestion on how to solve this? There is an image below to describe the
error in detail if you do not want to download the github project.

So when I click an avatar from the first row, the box expands and pushes
the second row down - great! This is perfect. Now when I click an avatar
from the second row it loads the preview box for the first row, where as
it should have generated one directly below the second row's avatar.
